Domaine Georges Noëllat, based in the village of Vosne-Romanée is today run by Maxime Cheurlin. Cheurlin took over the domaine in 2010 – aged just 20 – and has since transformed its reputation. With some exceptional vineyard sites and a clearly gifted vigneron at the helm, the domaine now produces some of the most exciting wines on the Côte d’Or.Yields are typically low, averaging around 25hl/ha.He is always looking to make elegant, ethereal-styled Pinot, but is not afraid to adapt his winemaking depending on the growing season. It is his dynamic approach than has won him so many admirers in such a short time.
